I performed inside this building, in a small theater, in 1990. I could email you a photo of the facade from that year, if you’d like. (Also, my friend Franta Stoček was Director of the Plzenky Prazdroj museum around that time. I have a photo of him & his family in 1990 (or possibly 1991) in front of the doors, but my photo doesn’t include the sign above, sorry.) The brewery at that time was pretty chaotic & dirty. I remember bottles smashing by the dozens at a time on the - whatever those machines are called - an assembly line thing. There were a couple women whose only job, it seemed, was to mop up the broken green glass & puddles of beer. Noisy, crashing glass, it was fantastic.
