I performed inside this building, in a small theater, in 1990. I could email you a photo of the facade from that year, if you’d like. (Also, my friend Franta StoÄek was Director of the Plzenky Prazdroj museum around that time. I have a photo of him & his family in 1990 (or possibly 1991) in front of the doors, but my photo doesn’t include the sign above, sorry.) The brewery at that time was pretty chaotic & dirty. I remember bottles smashing by the dozens at a time on the – whatever those machines are called – an assembly line thing. There were a couple women whose only job, it seemed, was to mop up the broken green glass & puddles of beer. Noisy, crashing glass, it was fantastic.
Hello Scott from Pilsen, how are you? You have still now my foto from this small theater. Theather is still under this hall. It was maybe your first performace in Pilsen. A than in Dobřany hospital aand next too Plasy convent.
